The Villa

RUMAH MANDALY was designed to reflect an ethnic Indonesian style, but offers every modern convenience and luxury required of the demanding world traveller. Constructed as an authentic Ironwood Joglo, of Javanese origin, the three bedroom villa expands outwards to its surrounding landscaped tropical gardens, large swimming pool (that abuts the main living area), and decked sun lounging and barbecue area.

Located next to a beautiful Hindu temple, you enter the villa through a thatched gateway into a walled private compound, you then reach the main villa via a decked pathway, passing the pool on your way.

RUMAH MANDALAY sits against a jungle backdrop and beside a charming slow-flowing river, the villa itself is surrounded by a tropical walled garden of Japanese grass, with the scent of Frangipani, Desert Rose, and Oleander permeating the air. A centre point of the garden is the large swimming pool that abuts the main Joglo and sits in an east/west orientation to maximise the capture of the sun, ample shade is also available. Overall, the tranquil and fragrant gardens are an ideal haven in which to enjoy Bali’s tropical climate.
